Substantial size and regular façade enlivened by classically inspired features such as pediments and portico. Retains notable features and materials which enhance appearance such as tiled threshold, timber sash windows, coloured glass and slate roof. Retains much of its original form including portico and bay windows, which add to symmetry of façade. Site enhanced by render steps and cast-iron gates.
