Attached single-storey three-bay vernacular house, built c. 1850, currently not in use. Pitched corrugated-metal roof with replacement rainwater goods. Painted roughcast rendered walls with smooth render plinth course. Square-headed window openings flanking door opening with two-over-two pane timber sliding sash window and six-pane timber casement window, both having limestone sills. Square-headed door opening with timber battened door and limestone steps.
This house is an attractive example of the vernacular tradition in Ireland. Its character has been preserved in the retention of features and materials such as a corrugated-iron roof and timber sliding sash and casement windows. Vernacular structures are becoming increasingly rare in both urban and rural areas.
