Description
Terraced two-bay three-storey house, built c. 1840. Pitched tile roof with rendered chimneystack. Roughcast rendered walls with raised render surround to recessed window and door to ground floor. Timber sash window and timber fixed window with sills to ground floor. Timber sash windows with sills to first floor. Timber casement windows to second floor. Timber panelled door with toplight.
Appraisal
This house makes a notable and positive contribution to the streetscape, due to the scale and form of the building. The unusual scale of the openings is an interesting features of this house, while the use of sills to some openings is an irregular and notable feature. The house retains a variety of timber fixed, sash and casement windows which contribute to the architectural heritage significance of this building.
