Description
End-of-terrace three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1900. Pitched slate roof with red brick chimneystack and gabled dormer windows having timber bargeboards, finials and fish scale pattern infill. Red brick walls having limestone threshold. Timber panelled door and replacement windows.
Appraisal
The scale and form of this house make a positive contribution to the streetscape and the building is enlivened by the well-executed decorative detail, such as the fish scale pattern infill and finial . The materials utilised in the construction of this house, such as the red brick, purple slate and limestone add colour and textural interest to this notable building.
