Description
Terraced gable-fronted two-bay two-storey house, built c. 1900. Pitched slate roof with red brick chimneystack and terracotta finial. Red brick walls with limestone threshold to front door. Replacement windows and door.
Appraisal
The gable-fronted facade of this house contrasts with the more regular facades in this area of the city, and the scale and form of the building make a positive contribution to the streetscape. The materials utilised in the construction of this house, such as the red brick, purple slate and limestone add colour and textural interest to this notable building.
