Detached three-bay single-storey former railway station with dormer attic, built 1859, having gabled projecting bays flanking entrance. Now in use as house. Single-bay single-storey flat-roofed bay added to left, three-bay single-storey flat-roofed recessed wing added to right and single-bay single-storey flat-roofed projecting porch added to front with lancet door opening, c. 1990. Pitched slate roof with rusticated concrete chimneystack. Dormer windows added to rear. Snecked limestone walls with cut-stone quoins. Painted brick reveals to replacement timber windows. Timber matchboard door. Blind loops to gables. Rubble stone boundary walls and gate piers to site.
