Description

Five-arch road bridge over the River Slaney, built c.1750. The bridge is constructed in coursed rubble with granite voussoirs to the semi-circular arches. There are ‘V’ cutwaters to the east face and the low parapets have semi-dressed granite coping.

Appraisal

A relatively rare example of a mid 18th-century road bridge still in largely original condition.
