Detached three-bay two-storey country house, built c.1820. The country house was extended and re-modelled in c.1850 and in c.1995 a single storey bow-fronted bay was added to the south side. The country house is finished in render with moulded dressings, block and start quoins and a balustraded parapet. A short flight of stone steps rise to the panelled double uPVC replacement doors; this sits within a single-storey flat-roofed portico breakfront with Tuscan order pilasters. Window openings are flat-headed with twelve over twelve replacement frames. The country house is set within a large mature wooded garden. It has a curved gate screen with square gate pillars and wrought-iron gates.
Following the 1850s remodelling this early 19th-century country house assumed an Italianate appearance. It is nevertheless a fine and well preserved house and is a strong asset to the heritage of the area.
