Semi-detached two-bay single-storey with attic former estate worker’s house, one of a uniform grouping of sixteen, built c.1860 and now a private dwelling. The building is constructed in rubble with granite quoins and dressings, whilst the gable-ended pitched roof is covered in artificial slate and has an overhang and a granite chimneystack. The entrance is now located on the north face of a rear lean-to extension of c.1980, and consists of a replacement door. The windows themselves are flat-headed and have replacement uPVC top-hung frames. Replacement uPVC rainwater goods. The property is situated back from the roadside behind a relatively long garden.
This house has witnessed the replacement of its original roof, door and window fabric and the addition of a lean-to extension to the rear, however, like its neighbour to the south, it has retained a semblance of its original rustic appearance and remains an asset to the semi-rural aspect of Quarry Street.
