Description
Detached six-bay single-storey national school, built c.1830. The façade is finished in painted roughcast whilst the hipped roof is covered in artificial slate. The entrance consists of a timber door and the flat-headed windows have replacement two over two timber sash frames. Replacement metal rainwater goods. The national school faces directly onto a narrow road.
Appraisal
Although somewhat renovated in recent years, this national school has maintained its early to mid 19th-century form and, as such, continues to act as an important element of what is essentially an 1800s streetscape.
