Description

End-of-terrace three-bay two-storey house, built c.1830. The house is constructed in rubble fieldstone and is mainly lime-rendered and white-washed, however there are with extensive brick repairs to the gable. The sheeted front door is set within a flat-headed opening. Window openings are also flat-headed with ground floor frames blocked and those to the first floor are four pane fixed lights. The pitched roof is finished with natural slate with cast-iron rainwater goods. The chimneystack is in brick with plain cap and no pots. The building is road fronted.

Appraisal

This plain two-storey building has a rustic charm more typical of a country setting. It adds variety to the townscape.
