Farmyard complex, extant 1840, including: Walled garden on a rounded cornered square plan with coursed rubble stone boundary wall to perimeter having overgrown rubble stone rounded coping; red brick Running bond surface finish to courtyard elevations. Now disused. Set in wood in grounds originally shared with Ballycross House.
A farmyard complex surviving as an interesting relic of the Ballycross House estate following the demolition (1948) of the eponymous country house erected (1837) by John Rowe JP DL (1807-69), one-time High Sheriff of County Wexford (fl. 1858), 'a large square building of comparatively recent erection and ample proportions…surrounded and embellished with ornamental pleasure-grounds [and] enriched with fine plantations' (Lacy 1863, 446).
