Two-arch road bridge over river, extant 1853. Part creeper- or ivy-covered walls with rubble stone coping to parapets. Pair of round or segmental arches with limestone ashlar voussoirs centred on cut-limestone keystones. Set in shared grounds spanning Boro River with unkempt banks to river.
A bridge representing an integral component of the mid nineteenth-century civil engineering heritage of County Wexford with the architectural value of the composition suggested not only by the sheer limestone dressings demonstrating good quality workmanship, but also by the elegant "sweep" of the arches making a pleasing visual statement at a crossing over the Boro River.
