Appraisal

An amiable house of modest size originally intended as two houses built as part of an ensemble of four houses (with 15605215 - 216) probably having origins in earlier ranges indicated on archival editions of the Ordnance Survey. Having been sympathetically renovated with replacement fittings alluding to the original predecessors, the house presents an approximation of an early aspect, thus upholding the status as an important contributing factor in the streetscape aesthetic of Michael Street.
