Single-arch railway bridge over river, opened 1863. Part creeper- or ivy-covered walls with cut-granite chamfered stringcourses supporting cast-iron railings. Single segmental arch with margined rock faced granite ashlar voussoirs. Sited spanning Banoge River with unkempt embankments to river.
A bridge identified as an integral component of the mid nineteenth-century civil engineering heritage of Gorey on account of the connections with the extension of the Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford Railway (DWWR) line opened (1863) by the Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford Railway (DWWR) Company.
