Appraisal

A house erected as one of a terrace of eight houses representing an integral component of the twentieth-century domestic built heritage of Wexford with the architectural value of the composition suggested by such attributes as the compact rectilinear plan form; and the very slight diminishing in scale of the openings on each floor producing a feint graduated visual impression with those openings showing stolid neo-Georgian tripartite glazing patterns. Having been well maintained, the elementary form and massing survive intact together with substantial quantities of the original fabric, thus upholding the character or integrity of a house forming part of a self-contained ensemble (including 15502060 - 15502061) making a pleasing visual statement in an urban street scene.
