Entrance gates to Rockview House, erected c.1812, comprising pair of fluted cut limestone gate posts on octagonal plan with shallow domed capstones over and wrought-iron double gates, flanked by quadrant sections of wrought-iron railings over cut limestone plinth walling to east and west. Pedestrian entrance to east, comprising fluted limestone gate posts on octagonal plan (capstones now missing) and wrought-iron gate. Located to the north of Rockview House.
A very good and attractive example of stone carving and ornamental ironwork of circa 1812, contemporary with Rockview House. Forms part of an important group of structures associated with Rockview House and an attractive feature in the landscape to the south of Delvin in their own right.
