Detached eleven-bay three-storey distillery, built c.1830, with auxiliary buildings. Remnants of pitched slate roof. Coursed rubbles limestone walls with stepped yellow brick eaves course. Segmental-headed window openings with yellow brick arches. Segmental-headed carriage arch openings with yellow brick arches and limestone reveals. Ruin of auxiliary mill buildings to north-west with limestone walls and segmental-headed window openings with red brick arches and ancillary single-storey structures abutting.
This distillery and its outbuildings, combined with the adjacent house (see 14941007), forms an interesting group of related industrial structures. Now derelict, the distillery once played an important role in the economy of Kilcomin. The random rubble walls contrast with the yellow brick dressing and create variation in otherwise repetitive elevations.
