Description
Pair of semi-detached four-bay single-storey houses, built c.1930, with veranda entrance porches. Hipped slate roof with terracotta ridge cresting and red brick chimneystacks. Roughcast rendered walls. Timber sash windows with red brick dressings and stone sills. Timber panelled doors.
Appraisal
This pair of houses are of apparent architectural form and design. Of particular interest are the veranda porches which enliven the regular form of the pair. They retain many original materials and features, such as the timber sash windows, red brick dressings, slate roof and terracotta ridge cresting. The variety of materials used in the construction of this pair add colour to the streetscape.
