Appraisal

This parochial house is of apparent architectural design and detailing. The regular form of the building is enlivened by the gabled bay and the gablet. The building retains many original features and materials, such as the timber sash windows, red brick dressings and carved limestone plaque. This house forms part of an interesting group of Roman Catholic buildings, with the church and former school to the site.
