Detached three-bay two-storey former estate manager's house, built c.1780, flanked by recessed bays, with pedimented gables. Hipped and pitched slate roofs with ashlar limestone parapets and chimneystacks. Ashlar limestone walls with string courses. Timber sash windows. Round-arched openings to ground floor with paired timber glazed doors.
This former estate manager's house forms part of an interesting group of Loughcrew demesne structures, with the Ionic portico, stables, church, graveyard and gate lodges. The building is of apparent architectural design and detailing, while the retention of many original features and materials, such as the slate roof, ashlar chimneystack and timber sash windows complements the form of this building.
