Single-arch railway bridge over tracks, built c.1850, with squared rubble stone walls and piers. Ashlar limestone voussoirs, string courses and cappings. Modern concrete extension to north-east.
Enfield Railway Station was built to serve the Midland Great Western Railway, on the Dublin to Galway line. This bridge forms part of a group with the related structures at Enfield Railway Station. The limestone masonry is clearly executed by skilled craftsmen and the contrasting squared stone and ashlar add textural interest to the site.
