Description
Pair of semi-detached three-bay two-storey houses, built c.1890, with gabled central porches. Pitched slate roofs with gabled dormers, terracotta ridge tiles and finials, red brick chimneystack, and decorative bargeboards. Rendered walls. Red brick dressings and tooled stone sills to window openings. House to east has a single-bay extension to east.
Appraisal
This pair of semi-detached houses make a notable and positive contribution to the streetscape. The pair make a colourful addition, due to the retention of many interesting features and materials, such as the purple slate roofs, red brick dressings, and terracotta ridge cresting and finials.
