Terraced eight-bay two-storey former bakery, built c.1930, now disused. Comprising of five recessed bays, flanked by single-bays, with four-bays over integral carriage arch to the west. Flat roof. Rendered walls with lettering to upper level and having incised horizontal bands to plinth course. Steel windows, set in vertical bands with reeded panels between floors. Windows boarded to ground floor, having cast-iron chevron patterned sill guards.
This early twentieth-century Art Deco building is an interesting addition to the predominantly eighteenth- and nineteenth-century streetscape. The building is of apparent architectural design and detail, with the strong vertical and horizontal lines created by the incised banding, recessed panels and veritcal piers. The steel windows and chevron patterned sill guards are interesting original features.
