Description
End-of-terrace three-bay two-storey rendered house, built c.1840, with tooled stone dressings to openings. Square-headed windows have stone sills and timber single-sash windows. Diamond-pointed quoins to front elevation. Pitched tile roof with brick chimneystacks. Derelict stone outbuilding to rear.
Appraisal
This modest house retains crafted features such as tooled stone dressings, diamond-pointed quoins and timber sash windows. In this era of mass production and machine finishes, these features are becoming increasingly rare and difficult to replicate.
