Description
Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1830. Hipped slate roof with ashlar chimneystacks. Roughly-dressed stone walls with limestone quoins. Limestone block-and-start surrounds to window openings. Wrought-iron railings and gate to front.
Appraisal
This house forms an interesting part of the architectural heritage of the village. Craftsmanship is apparent in the execution of the masonry. The limestone dressings contrast with the rich colour of the rubble sandstone walls.
