Description

Detached multiple-bay lofted stone former coach house, built c. 1850, now in use as outbuildings. Pitched slate roof, black clay ridge tiles, central gable to loft opening, upvc gutter to timber fascia, cast-iron downpipes. Coursed rough-hewn limestone walling with yellow and red brick surrounds to window, door and loop openings, yellow brick corbels to loft gable, two ground floor openings with brick arches, flat arch brick heads to all other door and window openings. Vertically-sheeted doors, double doors to large arched opening and a half door below the loft opening, cast-iron windows.

Appraisal

Former coach house for Rosetta House whose size gives some idea of what was required to maintain even a small country house. The surviving combination of house (12505030) and coach house adds to its significance.
