Detached three-bay two-storey house, c.1750. Now in use as guesthouse. Hipped slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, and iron rainwater goods on slightly overhanging eaves. Ivy-clad unpainted rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with cut-stone sills, and two-over-two timber sash windows. Segmental-headed door opening with timber panelled door having sidelights, and fanlight. Interior with timber panelled shutters to window openings. Set back from road in own grounds with landscaped grounds to site.
A well-composed house of the middle-size retaining the original form and massing together with most of the historic fabric both to the exterior and to the interior, thereby maintaining the status as an important element of the mid eighteenth-century domestic architectural legacy of County Kilkenny.
