Holy well, c.1775, with round-headed door opening in unpainted rendered screen wall on a curved plan over random rubble stone construction with no fitting, red and yellow brick coping to segmental parapet having ivy-clad decorative cut-limestone finial to apex. Set back from road in grounds shared with Bayswell House.
A small-scale artefact dedicated to Saint Michael contributing pleasantly to the group and setting values of the Bayswell House estate while surviving as a particularly important element of the built heritage of the locality on account of the status as an early-surviving place of worship.
