Six-arch rubble stone road bridge over river, c.1775. Repaired, c.1950. Random rubble stone walls with cut-stone triangular cut-waters to piers to east, mass-concrete buttresses, c.1950, to piers to west, and squared rubble stone coping to parapets. Series of six round arches with cut-limestone voussoirs, and rubble stone soffits having render over. Sited spanning Pollanassa River with grass banks to river.
An appealing bridge representing an important element of the civil engineering heritage of Mullinavat. The traditional construction in unrefined locally-sourced rubble stone serves to assimilate the bridge pleasantly into the surrounding landscape.
