Description
Terraced two-bay two-storey house, c.1900, probably incorporating fabric of earlier house, pre-1840, on site. Now disused. Pitched (shared) artificial slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stack, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with painted sills, and one-over-one timber sash windows. Square-headed door opening with glazed timber panelled door. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.
Appraisal
Retaining the essential composition attributes together with substantial quantities of the original fabric a small-scale house presenting an early character makes a pleasing impression in the streetscape.
