Appraisal

Having been very well maintained a well-composed substantial house of balanced appearance presents an early aspect with most of the original qualities intact together with most of the original fabric both to the exterior and to the interior. Exhibiting an elegant, if muted Classical theme fine rendered accents with particular emphasis on the porch contribute significantly to the architectural design quality of the composition. An attendant gateway featuring appealing iron work makes a positive contribution to the streetscape value of the site in Chapel Street.
