Appraisal

A pleasant small-scale gate lodge making a positive contribution to the group and setting values of the Good Shepherd Centre (Loreto Convent) complex. Inventive glazing patterns enhance the architectural design importance of the composition while the retention of substantial quantities of the historic fabric maintains the character of the site.
