Detached three-bay single-storey rubble stone mono-pitched outbuilding, c.1850. Reroofed, c.1930. Mono-pitched roof. Replacement corrugated-iron, c.1930. Rendered coping to ridge and to gables. No rainwater goods on rendered eaves course. Roughcast walls over rubble stone construction (exposed rubble stone construction to side (west) elevation). Painted. Square-headed window openings (slit-style). Fittings not visible. Square-headed door opening. Timber fittings. Set back from road in grounds shared with house (11822034/KD-36-22-34).
This outbuilding is an attractive small-scale structure of vernacular appearance, and is of social importance representing a traditional practise whereby each household kept livestock on the grounds for the supply of meat, milk, eggs, and so on.
