Single-arch rubble stone road bridge over canal, built 1784. Coursed ashlar piers and dressed voussoirs to segmental arch. Parapet walls with coping terminate in curves to tow paths. Inscribed stone panel to each outer face. Rope-cut grooves to south piers.
This stone canal bridge, strategically located on the county boundary, is a fine example of a standard type canal bridge, retaining its original form and dimensions, including the sweeping curves of its walls to the towpaths which give it an air of sculpted geometry.
