Freestanding three-arch road bridge, built c.1760 and widened in c.1820. The structure is constructed in granite rubble with roughly hewn voussoirs and copings. It carries the main road over the Avonbeg river. Nearby is a monument to the poet Thomas Moore (1779-1852).
This mid 18th century bridge is picturesquely set at a road junction. It is well preserved and adds to the historic character of the area. It is associated with the poet Thomas Moore.
