Description

End-of-terrace three-bay two-storey house, built c.1860. The façade is finished in painted lined render with moulded quoins, but is largely obscured by thick ivy growth, whilst the pitched roof is covered in artificial slate and has rendered chimneystacks. The entrance consists of a panelled timber door with elliptical fanlight with ‘sunburst’ tracery and slender reeded timber jambs with decorative brackets, all encased with a moulded surround. The windows are flat-headed and have two over two timber sash frames. uPVC rainwater goods. To the roadside front there is a small garden enclosed by a rendered wall with hedges above and a wrought-iron gate with square piers.

Appraisal

Well preserved mid Victorian end-of-terrace house which remains a good asset to the streetscape.
