Description

End-of-terrace two-bay two-storey house, built c.1925. The façade is finished in unpainted roughcast with narrow painted render surrounds to the openings, whilst the pitched roof is slated and has a blank gable shared with the neighbouring house, and a rendered chimneystack. The entrance consists of partly glazed timber door with plain rectangular fanlight. The flat-headed windows have two over two timber sash frames. To the front is a small garden, enclosed from the street by a rendered wall. The house is one of a long planned roadside terrace of largely identical properties.

Appraisal

An example of early 20th-century local authority housing, whose value lies in the fact that it appears to be still largely original.
