Terrace of six almost identical three-bay single-storey estate workers houses, built c.1890. The houses are constructed with granite rubble with block and start brick dressings to the windows. There is a flat-roofed single-storey addition to the easternmost house. Doors are all replacement and are within flat-headed openings. Window openings are flat-headed. The original two over two timber sash frames have all been replaced with various replacement frames. The pitched roofs are finished with natural slate with decorative bargeboards and serrated clay ridge tiles. Chimneystacks are constructed in brick and have slightly corbelled caps and clay pots. The houses face onto a small private lane with small garden plots opposite.
This short terrace of six has suffered from a large number of minor alterations but it still retains much of its character. The 19th-century appearance of the town is enhanced by the presence of this group of three similar terraces. They have a strong group value and add variety to the streetscape.
