End-of-terrace three-bay two-storey former house, built c.1830, now in use as a shop and house. The building is finished in render. The traditional shopfront has replacement double doors. The plain shop windows are flanked by panelled pilasters which support a timber sign board. The panelled door has a radial semi-circular headed fanlight over. Windows are flat-headed with six over six timber sash frames. The pitched roof is finished with natural slate with cast-iron rainwater goods. Chimneystacks are rendered with some slightly corbelled caps and some clay pots. The building is road fronted.
This small unassuming building is well preserved. It is a good example of a successful conversion from domestic to commercial use and it adds variety and richness to the streetscape. It should be noted, however, that it is vacant and is now at risk.
