Terraced three-bay two-storey former house, built c.1830, now in use as two shops. The building is finished in render. The traditional shopfront has a central door. The plain shop windows are flanked by plain pilasters with console brackets which support a timber sign board with gilded lettering; this is surmounted by a decorative cartouche and wrought-iron cresting. The replacement panelled door has a radial semi-circular headed fanlight over. Windows are flat-headed with two over two timber sash frames. The pitched roof is finished with natural slate with cast-iron rainwater goods. Chimneystacks are rendered with some slightly corbelled caps and some clay pots. The building is road fronted.
This small unassuming building is well preserved. It is a good example of a successful conversion from domestic to commercial use and it adds variety and richness to the streetscape.
