Appraisal

An attractive small-scale house of balanced proportions and fine detailing, which retains most its original form and massing, while replacement fittings have been installed in keeping with the original integrity of the design. An integral component of a group of seventeen units (with 22830160 - 163, 165 - 167, 301/WD-09-30-160 - 163, 165 - 167, 301), the house is distinguished by the gable front, and its position set slightly forward from the remainder of the terrace, forming a centrepiece to the terrace, and emphasising the formal or planned nature of the group.
