Appraisal

This house, built as one of a terrace of five identical units, is an attractive range composed of balanced proportions and distinguished by the presence of canted bay windows to ground floor, a feature typical of the period of construction. The house has been sympathetically restored with replacement fittings installed in keeping with the original integrity of the design. The house, together with the remainder of the terrace (22828021/WD-09-28-21), is an important component of the streetscape, following the topography of the sloping site through the use of a similarly sloping roofline.
