Unpainted rendered walls with painted rendered panelled piers to ground floor supporting vermiculated rendered quoined piers to first floor. Square-headed window openings with rendered sills, and moulded rendered surrounds. Replacement aluminium casement windows, c.1985. Square-headed door opening with rendered panelled pilaster surround, replacement glazed uPVC panelled door, post-1999, and rendered segmental pediment panel over having decorative motif. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.

Appraisal

A picturesque modest-scale house that is distinguished in the streetscape by the robust rendered detailing throughout, which is of some artistic design merit. However, the integrity of the house has been compromised by inappropriate replacement fittings to the openings.
