End-of-terrace three-bay two-storey house, c.1820. Renovated, c.1945, with window openings remodelled to ground floor. Extensively renovated, c.1995. Pitched (shared) roof with replacement artificial slate, c.1995, rendered chimney stacks, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods, c.1995. Replacement pebbledashed wall, c.1995, to front (south) elevation with rendered quoins, and painted rendered walls to remainder. Square-headed window openings (remodelled, c.1945, to ground floor) with replacement concrete sills, c.1995, rendered surrounds, and replacement uPVC casement windows, c.1995. Square-headed door opening with rendered surround, and replacement glazed timber panelled door, c.1995, having sidelights, and overlight. Road fronted with concrete brick cobbled footpath to front.
An attractive, middle-size house, built as part of a group of five houses of similar appearance and period of construction. Extensive renovation works in the late twentieth century have led to the loss of most of the original fabric, and to the erosion of much of the historic patina as a consequence, and the house remains of importance primarily for its contribution to the streetscape, forming part of the north range to the square.
