Appraisal

An attractive small-scale house that retains the original form and massing. However, the replacement of most of the original fabric over the course of the late twentieth century has eroded much of the historic patina of the site. The house is of particular significance having been sponsored by the Duke of Devonshire as accommodation for workers on the Lismore Castle estate.
