Appraisal

A pleasant small-scale house, built as one of a terrace of four houses (including 22809056, 211 - 2/WD-21-09-56, 211 - 2) sponsored by the Duke of Devonshire for workers on the Lismore Castle estate. Very well maintained, the house retains its original form and massing, together with most of the original fabric, which enhances the historic quality of the composition. The house, together with the remainder in the terrace, forms an attractive feature in the streetscape of New Street.
