End-of-terrace three-bay single-storey house, c.1800, on a corner site. Reroofed, c.1950. Refenestrated, pre-1999. Pitched roof with replacement fibre-cement slate, c.1950, red clay ridge tiles, rendered (shared) chimney stack, rendered coping, and cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted roughcast walls. Square-headed window openings with stone sills, and replacement uPVC casement windows, pre-1999. Square-headed door opening with replacement timber boarded door, pre-1999. Road fronted on a corner site with concrete footpath to front.
An attractive small-scale building that retains most of its original form, and some of the early character. The density of the wall mass suggests a structure of considerable age. The house forms an important element of the streetscape of The Quay, occupying an important corner site leading to White Wall.
