Terraced three-bay two-storey house, c.1800, on a corner site with single-bay two-storey side elevation to south-east. Reroofed and refenestrated, pre-1999. Pitched (shared) roof (forming hip to corner) with replacement artificial slate, pre-1999, concrete ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods, pre-1999, on timber eaves. Painted roughcast walls. Square-headed window openings with stone sills, and replacement uPVC casement windows, pre-1999. Square-headed door opening with replacement glazed uPVC panelled door, pre-1999. Road fronted on a corner site with concrete footpath to front.
A well-composed, modest-scale house that appears to retain much of its original form and massing, and which occupies an important corner site, contributing to the streetscape value of Post Office Square and White Wall. The density of the wall mass suggests a building of considerable age. However, extensive renovation works in the late twentieth century have compromised much of the historic character of the site.
