Appraisal

This house, built as one of a pair, is an attractive modest-scale composition that retains its original form and character. The simple quality of the house is emphasised by the lack of detailing to the wall surfaces, and the composition is distinguished by the fittings to the openings. The house, which has been well maintained, retains many important salient features and materials. The house, together with the second in the pair (22501026/WD-5632-21-26), forms an attractive feature in the streetscape of Thomas Street.
